Two Songs in the works!

 

Hello! It's me again!!

You may have noticed I dropped a new song recently, humanMachine, I hope you all liked it :]

But getting straight to the point I wanna gush about an album I recently ordered!!

生きる(Alive) by siinamota!!!! I'm really excited for it to arrive later this month!!! This album is probably one of his best, it's a really nice listen so I heavily recommend it!!!!

I'm also hoping to soon order Alterour Setsuna Pop!!!!! I like CDs a lot, and that leads into the next part.

I've been working on songs again (if you couldn't tell lol) but this is hopefully building up to a new EP! It doesn't have a name but I think it'll be good based off the songs I've released and the ones I'm working on! And maybe I'll even make a physical copy for myself when I'm done with it!!

I think there might be a loose theme with the songs, though I couldn't tell. One of my favorite songs I've written is almost finished, but so is the one that will release before it since I don't like it as much (lol)

Also, I'd like to show off some early art for both of my recent MVs! 

Oxidized Teenage Daydream's original premise was going to be Miku and Bincon looking for the person who killed their dreams, but it changed a LOT the day I made the final MV

I think the sillier tone felt more fitting and it was WAY more fun to make the MV after changing it up.

There is also a random png of Yasuyori Inuta in the folder for the MV 😭 

I don't know why he's there,,,,

but going to humanMachine, this was his original idle. It looks ass, I'm happy I redid it. (fluffy furry guys!!!!)

Vocacolle, RASTERs, and the next songs

 

Hi it's Ryoppa! It's nice to post here again as a little update!

Recently I made a song for vocacolle called "Oxidized Teenage Daydream" featuring both Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto! The song was a lot of fun to make and I got to work with a new oomf (Shani)! 

I hope I can work with them more in the future, the guitar they did was amazing for the song and I'd love to collaborate more :]

Oxidized is now my most popular song on niconico when it comes to likes, with windowpane finally being dethroned! It hit 22 likes!!! It's second most viewed at 101, decently behind windowpane which is at 215.

I can't wait to participate in more events like Vocacolle and Vocagathering, I've had lots of fun working for those events.

Maybe one day I'll submit a song for mikuexpo! 2028 maybe...

Oh, and finally let me talk about the next two songs I'm currently working on. 

These next two songs are some of my favorites I've composed to far!! Making music videos has became even more fun since Oxidized and I hope to keep up on doing that!!

If you've seen on twitter, you know the next song will be featuring Kemonone Row as the main singer again! It uses his old Act2 voicebank because it has a cute tone, especially with some bitcrusher on it!

I also posted a small development clip of it, for a refresher here it is!

The music video is a bit simpler than Oxidized, hell it's almost finished already! I just have to do lyrics QwQ

And then the other song? It's my favorite. I really really want to share it, but I want the first listen of it to be perfect and no spoilers!!! The meaning of it will probably be more personal. I think most of my songs are personal honestly, you can tell, can't you?

I SWEAR I'M WORKING!!!!

 

I'M SO SORRY IT'S BEEN A WHILE!! I FORGOT I HAD THIS BLOG SO I THOUGHT I SHOULD UPDATE IT!!

Hi it's me Ryoppa again!! It's been a while!!

My summer break started near the end of may and I will be honest, I don't think there's many songs I'll be releasing this month.

Song5's lyrics are taking a while to be made due to Uruwashiai being busy with lot's of stuff right now and they said they hope to get them done by the end of June, so maybe we can still hope it to come out sometime this month? 

Along with that I need to work more on things for the EP (cover art and the crossfade) but otherwise most things should be ready.

Outside of things for the "My Mundane Life" EP things have been a struggle for me 😭

I wasn't too productive at first, while I have started a few project files and I think there's one in particular that will be released soon if I write the lyrics I haven't been productive this month 😔 

I got back into playing Splatoon on my Wii U again so I may or may not be taking time to play that a lot, but it's not like people are dying to hear new music by me lol

I need to personally realize I don't need to release music constantly, I think the workflow I had for "My Mundane Life" is unhealthy for the future and I'll try my best to realize that.

I mean, bigger vocaloid producers can go months without new releases and still be growing but I just feel the need to create more and more for you all to enjoy and for me to create >:0

A few song ideas I have involve topics like breakups and not being able to let go, fearing the worst for others while being a bystander too scared to help, and also a song I have written but no ideas for 😭 

There's also lots of old ideas I'd love to return to, since it's pride month a very old song idea called "chameleon" would be fitting but I don't know if I wanna write it right now. Plus the breakup song relates to it with the vocalists being women (Yay yuri)

Progress Update: Now and the Future

 

Hello everyone, it's Ryoppa again!

Recently I struggled to start writing one of the songs for the album, so I gave up and begun writing the next one :]

I think you might be able to tell from the vocals I speak of using but I'm using lots of robots for this EP

For the next three songs you should expect Momo, Rei and Defoko

I think Momo's song (The one I started) Will be released next week, as it's my final week of school and the song resonates with that to an extent.

I want to get the Rei song out this week, but I might postpone it.

And the Defoko song is still gonna take a bit, but I hope you all will enjoy it!

I hope your looking forward to this collection being finished, afterwards I might make an even shorter collection of instrumental tracks and then I can work on way bigger projects

I have a person I'd like to collab with on a later song, their tuning style really matches the overdramatic rage I want to convey for that idea :]

And I think it's clear me and Uruwashiai are going to continue working together, especially with summer happening I hope we can work together more often :D

Overall I have lots to do, and improve on, and I'm happy to have you all here for my journey

Hey, it's ryoppa again, and it seems song5 spiralled into something much larger lol

If you didn't see, I released a song called "To Live" shortly after and today I should be posting another one called "Magical Girl Days", but what does any of this mean?

Well, along with what I called Song5, these all have a somewhat consistent theme, will you be able to find out before it's over? Probably

I dunno how many people actually READ my blog but for those who do I hope you enjoy the slow buildup to all them being finished :]

It might take a bit for the defoko song because uruwashiai is gonna be busy, but hopefully if i can keep the releases on a stable pace it should match up with when their able to write lyrics :D

Song 5 - Taking a break from seriousness

 It's ryoppa, and I'd like to talk about my next song! Currently I'm already quite far in production, and uruwashiai is back to write lyrics!!

Compared to my last few songs, lyrically it won't mean too much.
